About

Lorna is a proud Metis beader. She is originally from Crane River but currently lives in Dauphin. Lorna is a self taught beader, and has been beading since she was young. She stopped for awhile and then took it back up just in the last 7 years. She’s attended workshops on beading to learn new techniques and just the joy of being with other beaders. She really enjoys teaching/mentoring other beaders (beginning and ….) and sharing her knowledge. Lorna is a Business Administration graduate and currently works for the Federal Government for the past 26 years. She currently sits on the Dauphin Amisk Metis Local as Chair and hold a position on the Board of Directors for Infinity Woman Secretariate.
