About
“Sunsprout (She/Her): A Winnipeg born Métis Fiber Fairy who followed love to the strawberry capitol of Canada. Stitch Witch and Crafty Creature; she loves to create with all things fiber related. She’s dabbled in embroidery, hand sewing, and knitting, but finds her crochet hooks in her fairy fingers the most. Her art is whimsical, bright, and often nature or fantasy inspired. Sunsprout finds comfort in creating. Her dreamcatchers are a meditative practice that are carefully smudged with sage. The counting of her crochet stitches clears her busy, creative mind. In a world of instant gratification, she hopes her hand made creations inspire others to slow down with art and find comfort in creating as well. After her first year of vending, dreamcatchers will always remain a part of her craft. But as she continues learning new fiber skills, her creative path has begun to expand into clothing and costume design. Her proudest whimsical creation has been a blend of these passions; creating wearable dreamcatcher fairy wings.” I’ve attached a photo for now as well. But I had some professional ones done this weekend that I’m hoping will be emailed tomorrow afternoon.
