About
AgriTech North is a year-round indoor farm, brick-and-mortar grocery store, and year-round sustainable agricultural technology company currently based in Dryden, Ontario and seeking to establish manufacturing in the near future. As a full-service grocery store and e-commerce platform we offer year-round fresh harvest-to-order produce, pantry staples, grains, rice and wild rice products, baking mixes, sauces, condiments, cooking oils, snacks, beverages, frozen items, and specialty foods. These items are available largely within our immediate region, but many are available for National and International shipping as well. In the near future, we will acquire PrimusGFS, which will allow a much wider variety of grocery products to support local food producers with access to a National and International market. A key differentiator is our local indoor controlled-environment agriculture (CEA) operation, where we grow leafy greens, herbs, and microgreens year-round using clean, food-safe, chemical-free hydroponic systems. Our fresh produce meets our Better Than Organic (BTO) standard to clearly communicate our superior growing practices, which exclude chemical pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides and emphasize freshness, consistency, and food safety. Beyond our own fresh produce growing, we represent more than 50 Ontario-based food producers and over 30 additional local processors, acting as a distribution and market-access platform for local and regional products. Our operations integrate retail, logistics, food production, and digital commerce, supporting food security, regional economic development, and expanded market access for Northern and Indigenous producers. We also offer our services for grantwriting, invention development, business planning, and software development to other organizations that may benefit from the expertise that has made AgriTech North successful. We have a patented multi-layer inflatable greenhouse solution that reduces heat loss in Winter by more than 70% when compared to single-pane glass, which is Canada's first commercially-viable year-round growing infrastructure, enabling true food security and sovereignty in every province and territory. We also have a complimentary patented hydronic microclimate control system which reduces climate control energy consumption by 75%, enabling lower-cost air conditioning and dehumidification in greenhouses, and any other building environment. Lastly, our LeakStops significantly reduce labour and material costs for vertical tower growing systems, which also increases crop yield and quality
